This collaboration aims to promote the adoption of battery-swapping models for electric vehicles, addressing issues such as long charging times and range anxiety among EV users, and further accelerating the global transition to electrification.

The swappable battery packs co-developed by EVLink and Yichen S-Power will utilize Yichen S-Power’s latest high-energy-density battery technology, featuring fast charging, long cycle life, and high safety, making them suitable for various applications, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and shared mobility.
A key objective of this partnership is to achieve localized production and maintenance. The two companies plan to establish production bases and battery-swapping networks in multiple countries and regions to ensure rapid response to market demand for battery supply and after-sales services. By 2025, it is estimated that over 500,000 swappable battery packs will be deployed globally, covering major EV markets. This large-scale localization strategy will not only reduce logistics costs but also create job opportunities and promote regional economic development.
